Megron LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Megron Fitness app and respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Megron Fitness mobile app and services.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Account: email address and password
• Profile: age, sex, height, weight, fitness goals
• Health & fitness data: daily weight, calorie intake, exercise logs, progress photos
• Apple Health data: weight, active energy, dietary energy, macronutrients (if you grant permission)

Automatically collected:

• Usage data: features used, time spent
• Device info: device type, OS, app version
• Crash reports via Sentry (technical data only)

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide fitness tracking, BMR/TDEE calculations, and calorie goals
• Generate AI-powered insights and recommendations
• Sync data with Apple Health (if authorized)
• Improve the app and develop new features
• Detect and prevent technical issues and abuse

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers provided by Vercel using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We perform regular security updates and automated backups.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Vercel – cloud hosting
• Sentry – crash reporting
• OpenAI – AI insights (anonymized data only)

We may disclose data if required by law or court order.

6. Apple Health Integration

We only access Apple Health data you explicitly authorize. You can revoke access anytime in iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

7. Your Rights

EU users have additional rights under GDPR. California residents have rights under CCPA (we do not sell data).

8. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

9. Children's Privacy

Megron Fitness is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
